Loopy alternatives are mainly Music Production Apps but may. Other great apps like Loopy are LoopToGo, Mobius, Repetito and LoopRecorder (VST/AU plugin, Standalone). The best Loopy alternative is Spire, which is free. I just don’t know why the DAW (Ableton 11 on iMac connected to iConnect MIDI4+ via USB) → Aeros (via the DIN out on my iConnect MIDI4+) isn’t working as it should (given that it used to work just fine). There are more than 10 alternatives to Loopy for a variety of platforms, including iPad, iPhone, Mac, Windows and Android apps. I can keep it this way as a work around, as the Elektron, which is connected to the DAW via USB, updates it’s tempo based on the DAW and then transmits this to the Aeros (connected via the 5 pin MIDI out). andowrites March 21 espiegel123 said: show previous quotes Loopy Pro for Mac is in development, fwiw. Loopy Pro for Mac is in development, fwiw. I tried to connect the MIDI out on my Elektron Digitakt to the Aeros and it works as it should. Is there anything like Loopy Pro for desktop Or is there anything under development Or do I need to use LoopyPro with my desktop DAW (Ableton Live 11). When I try to then use the controllers to control loopy, they do not work, as if Loopy is not receiving the midi sends. I’ve tried going back to Ableton 10, restarting the Aeros, creating a new song in Aeros and none of these are making a difference. Weirder still, if I click 'Add Binding' Loopy HD recognizes my midi controllers (both Softstep and MPK Mini) and I am able to recreate my bindings from scratch. If you are looking for a professional standard app that can act as your looper, Loopy HD is. To see what version of macOS and Xcode will work with your older iOS, check out. The app, which is optimized for Apple iPad, has even featured on NBC's The Tonight Show, where Jimmy Fallon and Billy Joel used it to record a harmony. If you do not do this, Loop (or any app installed from Xcode) will not run. But it keeps on saying MIDI Sync “Off” and doesn’t track tempo changes reliably as before. Loopy HD: Looper has gained its fair share of fame in recent years, and rightly so. When I change the tempo, it seems to occasionally catch the new tempo, but mostly not. Sometimes, it seems like there is a brief flicker to “on” but it is barely perceptible. Quantiloop supports all MIDI controllers that are compatible with iOS, as long as it can send either CC or Note messages (as of version 1.1). Hi, things were working fine for me, but suddenly my Aeros looper no longer will display MIDI Sync “On.” When I start and stop the transport in my DAW (Ableton 11), it starts and stops the Aeros, so it is getting these messages.
